ABOUT THE LEADER:
The leader of “Dancer's of Royalty”, is Kanaj’ea Hall and she's 17 years old. Ms.Hall has always loved helping others, she was very indecisive about what she wanted to become in the future, but one day she was at her dance school waiting to practice and the Drake song, “Nice for what" came on and and instantly she knew that this, being a dancer and teaching kids is what she wanted to do. She wants to become a professional dancer and help kids in the community, weather they're less fortunate or can afford to get into a dance school/academy, Kanaj'ea wants to help them because she understands how it feels to have a hard time doing something that you're really passionate about, but couldn't do it because your parents didn't have the money. At her academy, parents do not have to worry about paying anything, because she will do everything in her power to provide for her students. She began dancing at the age of eight at church and still does, that's how her love for dance came about, but Ms. Hall really started having a passion for it when she was twelve. It brought her out her shell and made her become more confident, it was the only way she could express her emotions. She wants to inspire the students and make them realize that they have a gift that God has given them.

GENRES:
Dancer's of Royalty will involve all sorts of dance: Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Cheer, Majorette, Step, and Gospel. They don't have to be flexible, boys and girls are welcomed. Ages 5-19 is the age range for Dancer’s of Royalty Dance Academy.
We are, Dancer’s of Royalty. Our reason for beginning this program is to help and guide children and teens in the community who can't afford to go to a dance school. That they are able to express themselves through dance and show the potential that those young queens and kings have and become who they are destined to be. Our main priority is to bring individuals in who have a heart for dance and for them to become successful in life while doing something they love. We want them to be able to show who they are to the world, even if they aren't as skilled as other’s. That's ok, we want everyone to show what they can do that's the creativity and importance of dance. Bringing something different! The name of the academy is “Dancer's of Royalty“, because that's exactly what our students are, ROYALTY. Our older dancers are Queen’s and King's , and our younger dancers are Princesses and Princes who will develop into a Queen or King.
Our mission is to bring children and teens in the community and help them become their own individual. For them to understand that they are more than just a person walking down the street, or just some thug, or a girl that has curves, they are way more than that. They are ROYALTY! We want them to know that they are Kings and Queens and our little ones to know that they are Princesses and Princes who will grow to be Queens and Kings.
Our vision is to expand our Royalty team and to tour all over the world, perform at Award shows, to bring special guests dancers to show the boys and girls some new techniques or just to come and give advice on how their journey was when entering the entertainment business. It's so important to us to help these kids and give them hope and make their DREAMS into REALITY.
